Impication

Bread and cheese, they are always intensive temptations for me.
That's the most enjoyable food when I travel in Europe.
While traveling I'm always very busy spotting local bakeries and trying them in each town.

And I love exploring supermarkets and small food shops such as organic markets.
Supermarket is just like a huge museum.
It might be me if you see a small Asian staring at the cheese, snacks or... anything.
I'm addicted to that and I think I can easily spend 2 hours there.

So there is a reason I can't help getting more unneeded weight.
Well, I tend to walk a lot when I'm traveling so hopefully it can pay off...

I'm not a huge sandwich fan though I had a really nice one in Copenhagen.
Actually the day before I went to the shop I saw many local people were having their sandwich along the canal and I decided to go there day after.
And I was convinced why they're so popular.
They make sandwich out of their home-bake bread and it's very tasty.

Also There is a well-known Japanese bakery "Andersen", it seems they opened two new shops in Copenhagen in 2008, 2009.
On weekdays they bake "cream-pan" and "melon-pan", on weekends they also bake "maccha-pan" and "an-pan", That what I heard from the sales person at the store.
I bought my favorite "cream-pain", that how they spelled in Danish and it was pretty good.

Also you can find more information here,

Another bakery I liked was this one,

I spent last week in Copenhagen and Göteborg, it was a great trip, they're both very lovely cities especially under the brilliant sunshine.

Both cities have enough greens to make us feel at ease and surrounded by many parks.
Hanging around in the park, biting a bread and smoothie in my hand.
When I was having breakfast along the river, unfolding my map wide.
I was just thinking where I should go before I visit the Amalienborg Palace to see the changing of the guard ceremony.
One old gentle Danish man came to me and asked if I need a direction.
I wasn't particularly in need of help, but it was very sweet offer.

On the same day, I also had a lovely chat with the police at Amalienbourg Palace.
Thanks to him, I could find out why the guard band played the march few days ago and didn't play it on the day. (They even played the music sincerely in the heavy rain!)
It depends on the palace conditions.

Just like enjoying the local food or historical monuments, a small chat with people would be the best part of traveling as well.
There are too many excuse to continue traveling!

Oh, I had very surprising encounter with a guy in Copenhagen.
When I was walking on the street it happened.
A stranger said to me "Hey, you're the one working at the hostel in Berlin, right?"
First time I didn't recognize him but soon after start talking to him, his face had become familiar to me.
It was surely astonishing.
What a small world we live in!
